october group buy update

I haven't got any news from Joe that anything has came in. So I'm pretty much just copy and paste last months update. I'll send Joe a line in a couple weeks and see if there's anything to add.

September AR G.B. Update

As of today nothing new has came in in yet. I talked to Joe and he wanted me to assure everyone that no one is getting burnt on this. 8/7 Group Buy Update

I talked to Joe, nothing has came in yet he said. For the couple of guys asking on shipping the lowers. He said yeah he will ship your lowers, but he can't refund on the LPK's. They will ship when they come in. He said he is sticking with the spring/summer statements. Hes not going to cancel or amend the orders. He wants the orders left alone so they will get built and not bumped to the bottom again. That's all the info I have for now. Joe said he'd try to get me some more info soon as he can. Thanks

Summer Group Buy Update

Just got off the phone with Joe. He wanted me to post a update cause its the first of the summer. It's pretty much the same as the spring update. He did say his email problems are still there and being spammed. Joe also wanted me to pass along, because of his job hes not able to answer the phone during the day. And also to copy and paste the spring update on here in case it falls off the front on this blog.

Joe said there was a lot of refunds and they basically had to cancell the order/ resubmit the order. From what I under stand from joe, even in the early part of the GB they were canceling and redoing the order. That I guess is what the hold up is. The order has been canceled and resubmitted or amended and it keeps putting us at the bottom of the list. Joe told me he even placed another order under his name also for some rifles hoping something hits soon.

He's just as fed up as the people in the group buy. He said he's not going to cancel or amend anything. When stuff comes in people will get it. He hasn't took anyone and the orders are placed. these were prepaid orders, and any refund puts us at the bottom. im sorry to say but so we can get this over with and shipped soon as possible if you choose to be in it then you are.

I'm just waiting for the email that says its all here then I can go to his place and gets pics and we can get this stuff shipped.

Someone on the board used joes email months ago for some porn site. He gets spammed with hundreds of emails a day. It fills up the in box and godaddy deletes them. Also he said someone wrote him a check for $130 and it didn't clear and he was charged for it. So joe was stuck in the hole on that. So joes feelings is everyone who ordered will get there stuff soon as it comes in. He said people had a deadline on the refunds so those who are stayed in are in it with him. He said the delivery dates are up to the vendors and he said they promised him many and haven't made it yet.

The problem with the prepaid orders is the customers money is sent in and the product is ordered. And the refund comes out of joes pocket until he gets a credit or the order gets amended. He can't afford to send everyone's money back and float all of this on his checking account. So he says the customer will get what they ordered, or if they want a refund he will sell there stuff when it comes in then send refund. you will get what you ordered or money back once its in and sold.

This GB is probably one of the longest. But its active and in progress. some people are claiming joes a crook. That's crap, they didn't have a problem with the prices at the time. but sorry they couldn't get it right away. I guess it is what it is, its no different than some one local placing a order in joes store. There waiting like all the GB folks. we have friends and co workers in on this too and we here about the wait all the time. no need to call and email just to complain. joes email and voice mail fills up quick. he asked me to post this update for him. so were all on the same page.

Joe is a stand up guy, he takes his gunshop and gunsmithing seriously. He's a great friend and sponsor. All that talk about him ripping some one off is offensive. I know you all didn't say that, but people have. This GB will be over soon as it comes in. And trust me joe and I want it over just as bad as the board and people waiting.

Spring Group Buy Update

AR update 3/27

talked to joe the other day. yes he said still waiting on the AR group buy. the prepaid orders/ar group buy are taking alot longer than expected. joe thinks back when he amended the orders numerous times, they may have bumped us to the end of the list. i know this has taken over a year, but the orders have been in and honestly were waiting like everyone one else. we want to get this group buy over just like you. but custom concepts isnt going to lower the quality of parts or workmanship just to get it over with. the parts and kits that have been ordered are high quality and are in high demand. remember the whole point of the group buy is to get a group order and save a considerable amount of money on the product. the M4's were if i remember correctly $300 cheaper than the going rate at the gun shops. no one is being took, we find it offensive that some are claiming this. everyone knew the market situation going into this. and the nature of the group buy with many vendors makes it very difficult to put a exact date on arrivals. soon as all the products come in we will post up with pictures and you will see what joe is working with. when he has all the parts, we then can provide a exact date of the builds and parts to be shipped. thats about the best custom concepts can come up with for a ETA at this time. thanks and we will post up if we hear anything.

AR group buy update

talked to joe today, he said hes going to talk to the vendors and see what the status is. he has been real busy at work and been traveling, he said sorry on not returning calls and emails. he asked me to post on here to let everyone know why hes been slow on the replies.

for those that asked for refunds here in the last week, they should go out next week. he has to wait for the credits to be applied before he can send them out. joe has been refunding on complete rifles and mags. if you guys read the posts below you will see joe offered to refund if you want out. take him up on that offer if you dont want to wait.

for those that emailed in the last couple weeks wanting to pick up the extra lowers, lpks, rifles, etc. joe said he has to wait for its all over then he can see whats there and sell it.

i know everyone wants closure on this and wants to move. thanks for those who hung in there.

11/04 update

Guys were still waiting. I was up at Joes over the weekend. Nothing came in yet. For those that asked after this is over with. Joe will have a list of extra parts, lowers, or rifles, mags, etc.... just wanted to put up a update. i still dont have the net, so updates are slow. I will post a update soon as stuff rolls in with pictures. All the rest of the info still stands, see post below. AR group buy update

Ok first and foremost....

I owe everyone a huge apology for not getting on the forum and keeping everyone updated. I can offer many reasons, but they are mute as of now. I appreciate everyone's patience and understand the frustrations. I know that my name and reputation is faltering on this board and that is NOT what I wanted to do. This thing got WAY beyond what it was suppose to be, but that's neither here nor there. I haven't committed to any dates because I have been told one thing by vendors and then the timelines haven't held for me. I don't want to tell folks that your order will be filled by such and such a date only to have to change it. To me that's not right.

I breezed through some of the posts and I want to verify some of the statements. These are custom rifles. Some more so than others (custom GunKote, customer request. etc.). I believe it was stated earlier that these are NOT complete Superior Arms rifles. I use Superiors lowers and the rest of the parts are from various vendors (which is the major hold up). These rifles do not have a manufactures lifetime warranty, but I do stand behind my work 110%. That is not something in writing but I won't crap on ANY of my customers. Ever.

I have had issues with my email (again another 'excuse') and I am in process of setting up another account just for this group buy. For now PLEASE use the following:

I have issued refunds to folks that have requested them. I hate to lose the business, but again, I'm not gonna crap on a customer. Period. I am 'hounding' my vendors to get everything squared away. There have been 'issues' that I believe have all been straightened out and in all honesty the parts will be coming in very soon (starting next week). Again, I don't want to promise any dates, but this damn thing is coming to a head.

I know that I have missed phone calls and emails. Again, I have reasons but I'm not going to sit here and make all kinds of excuses. If you have called and got no response, PLEASE call again and if I don't answer leave me a message. I have been having a difficult time for the last 2 weeks with keeping things together. I had surgery on my shoulder again and I'm still not running with full mental capacity (due in part to medications).

I do want to thank Chris for running interference on this for me. I will personally take the fault on this. I haven't been on here for a long time. I have had a major job function change and I don't have the free time to get on. Again, that's an excuse, but it is the truth. As far as messages on my cell phone, the new phone I have drops them before I get a chance to check them all. The ones I get I return and if I have missed yours I am sorry.

I know this has taken about 8 months more than what I had hoped and all I can do is offer my condolences and offer to make things right for everyone involved. If anyone feels that I am wronging them or you are just tired of waiting, let me know and I will do whatever I need to do to make it right for you.

I also want to thank everyone who has held in there. You won't be disappointed with your final product.
