AR group buy update

Ok first and foremost....

I owe everyone a huge apology for not getting on the forum and keeping everyone updated. I can offer many reasons, but they are mute as of now. I appreciate everyone's patience and understand the frustrations. I know that my name and reputation is faltering on this board and that is NOT what I wanted to do. This thing got WAY beyond what it was suppose to be, but that's neither here nor there. I haven't committed to any dates because I have been told one thing by vendors and then the timelines haven't held for me. I don't want to tell folks that your order will be filled by such and such a date only to have to change it. To me that's not right.

I breezed through some of the posts and I want to verify some of the statements. These are custom rifles. Some more so than others (custom GunKote, customer request. etc.). I believe it was stated earlier that these are NOT complete Superior Arms rifles. I use Superiors lowers and the rest of the parts are from various vendors (which is the major hold up). These rifles do not have a manufactures lifetime warranty, but I do stand behind my work 110%. That is not something in writing but I won't crap on ANY of my customers. Ever.

I have had issues with my email (again another 'excuse') and I am in process of setting up another account just for this group buy. For now PLEASE use the following:

I have issued refunds to folks that have requested them. I hate to lose the business, but again, I'm not gonna crap on a customer. Period. I am 'hounding' my vendors to get everything squared away. There have been 'issues' that I believe have all been straightened out and in all honesty the parts will be coming in very soon (starting next week). Again, I don't want to promise any dates, but this damn thing is coming to a head.

I know that I have missed phone calls and emails. Again, I have reasons but I'm not going to sit here and make all kinds of excuses. If you have called and got no response, PLEASE call again and if I don't answer leave me a message. I have been having a difficult time for the last 2 weeks with keeping things together. I had surgery on my shoulder again and I'm still not running with full mental capacity (due in part to medications).

I do want to thank Chris for running interference on this for me. I will personally take the fault on this. I haven't been on here for a long time. I have had a major job function change and I don't have the free time to get on. Again, that's an excuse, but it is the truth. As far as messages on my cell phone, the new phone I have drops them before I get a chance to check them all. The ones I get I return and if I have missed yours I am sorry.

I know this has taken about 8 months more than what I had hoped and all I can do is offer my condolences and offer to make things right for everyone involved. If anyone feels that I am wronging them or you are just tired of waiting, let me know and I will do whatever I need to do to make it right for you.

I also want to thank everyone who has held in there. You won't be disappointed with your final product.

were still waiting guys, and yes this is frustrating. i made a post on IO and CB. i will be without internet at the home PC for a month or 2. so i wont be posting much on here or the 2 forums. my email will work though. i will be viewing the boards thru my blackberry so replying to forum posts will be a minimum. if ya have general questions email me. if you have a refund request or need shop assistance email joe. im still here just on a 1" monitor on the phone... lol -chris

AR mags and Rifles

Guys were still waiting, sorry for the inconvenience.

Joe said hes going to contact the mag company and the rifle manufacture to get us a update. Soon as he does and gets me the info i will post it on the websites and on here.

Hang in there, they will be worth the wait. Joe is the best gunsmith i know, he can build a mean shooting AR-15. You wont be disappointed!!

The wait so far has been long i understand, but nearly as long as the 10/12 month wait on some bullet molds. and you got to remember everyone and there brother ran out and bought a AR in the last 5 months. the market couldnt keep up, its getting better from what i hear.

So lets hang in there and let Joe make some calls and the goods will go out soon as they come in and Custom Concepts work their magic on them.

Thanks for understanding and Thanks to Joe for offering the AR-15's at a really "good" price. No one else would sell the AR's at this price. Joe stepped up to the plate to offered incredible savings in a time when people were gouging. Again thanks to Joe and Custom Concepts.

MRC USPSA 5/17

well joe and i (chris d) had a real fun time at the uspsa match. we shot it with the wheel guns and the 1911's. it was a blast getting back into the groove with a 1911. joe rocked it pretty darn good with his carry sights on his smith .38 spl. i think id still be there trying to hit the texas star with it. it really felt good shooting fast with joes 1911. i was starting to get bored with my wheel gun. 6 shots reload and none of the stages but 1 was wheel gun friendly. glad rod and joe talked me into reshooting using joes 1911. hopefully we will finish in the top 3 in our classes. if not owell it just felt good, heckling each other and having a "blast" relieving some stress. ill post the results when i get them.

Milan Rifle Club this sunday

MRC will hold its monthly USPSA match this weekend. Come on out and give it look. Team Custom Concepts will probably be there. Dont forget to ask Joe about Gun Kote. Mag, LPK, Upper Update

still waiting, the mag people are not on the ball thats for sure. nothing we can do besides wait.

trust me joe and i are just as upset and mad the date wasnt as "they" promised. the order is in and we are in line. i dont want to call and bug them and keep hounding them for a date and piss them off and put us at the bottom.

soon as i hear from joe that he has them, i will post up. but joe will post soon as they come in.

the LPK's, the mags, the uppers, all should have been in by now. i cant make excuses and dont want to feed everyone with false info. so im being honest when i say i dont know when they will be here. we are waiting just as you, along with the first part of the GB on another site and all of our local sales.

lets just hope everything comes in soon, and most important everything comes in right. sorry the current president made everyone run out and buy everything gun and ar-15 related. this GB should have been long done. if joe gets a update from any of the manufactures we will post up. sorry for the wait, as joe said if you cant wait or want out let joe know and he will refund your money and we will sell at a gunshow or local later. i hope the very good prices joe offered on the GB is worth the wait for you all. please hang in there.........

Shipping AR Lowers seperate

Yes folks I've had a few guys ask. So i decided to post it here.

Yes we can ship your stripped lower to your FFL separate from the rest of the stuff you ordered. Granted Joe has your FFL on hand it can be ready to go soon as he gets them boxed up. You will need to pay another shipping charge to cover shipping on the LPK and what ever else you ordered mags, stocks what ever.

Joe is boxing up and getting ready the stripped lower only orders now. So he could mail them out at the same time.

Joe and my contact info is on the side bar and his number is in the banner. just leave a email addy and phone number and he will get back to you soon as he can.

im saying him because he has all the paper work and lists of who's ordered what and ffls on hand. this way i don't have to relay info to him and get it right. just send him a email and put group buy "ship lower separate" in the title.

give him a day or so to call you back. hes on call, and probably running equipment in the gun shop if he don't answer. just leave a detailed message.
