Sending letter to Joe's son RE: Group Buy

I'm mailing a letter to Joe's oldest son today. I'm asking for a name, address, phone number to the estate attorney, or who ever is in charge. So I can pass that info along to you guys. That way you will know how to go about getting a refund or guns he had at his shop. I will give him a few weeks to get back to me. Lets all pray for Joe's kids going through this difficult time after loosing their father. I'll post something soon as i hear back from his son. I'll be mailing a copy of the letter to Joe's son and to Joe's house in case the mail is being forwarded to a estate attorney or someone who's taking care of his business.

MAQUOKETA, Iowa — Joe J. Licht, 39, of Maquoketa, died January 8, 2012, at his home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland, Iowa. The Rev. John Cofield will officiate. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born May 13, 1972, in Kansas, to Robert Licht and Dorothy Bauer Licht. Joe’s hobbie was gunsmithing and he owned Custom Concepts (gunsmith shop). He loved to ride his Harley. Joe was always there for everyone and super supportive of everybody. Joe thought the world of his kids and was excited about his granddaughter.
Survivors include sons, Joey (Katie) of Grand Mound and Sean at home; daughter, Tiffini of Walcott; and granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rest In Peace Joe Licht

I got some sad news this morning. Joe Licht passed away last night. Our prayers go out to his family. He was a good friend and would do about anything for someone in need.

I will be posting his funeral arrangements and visitation dates and times soon as i get them.

Sometime this week i will be sending a letter to his family about this Group Buy. We need to find out who the executor of his estate is. Also along with the name, phone number, and address of the attorney of the estate. That way everyone involved with the group buy can get in touch with the estate attorney and we can try to figure out how we can get refunds from his estate. This will be the best way i think for all of us to get our refunds (or guns in his possession if he was working on your stuff). I'm in the same boat as he has one of my guns\parts too.

This may take a bit to hear back from his estate and family. I'm sure they have a lot on their plate with the passing of Joe and planning a funeral. I hope you all understand that this process may take awhile. I'm not sure how the estate thing works and all that. That's why i'll post their estate attorney's contact info when i get it. That way we can let the professionals handle what their getting paid to do and let their family mourn in peace. I don't want to bother his family at the funeral about his gun shop. Once i post the contact info everyone involved will need to contact the estate to go about getting your money back. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but this sudden and unexpected passing of Joe may take some time to sort this all out.

Joe still hasn't gave me/us any update on the group buy. So i don't have anything to add as of right now. Sorry for the lack of info, but if Joe doesn't keep me informed i don't have anything to post.

Well i still haven't heard from Joe. He has not given me any updates or status of the group buy. Soon as he lets me know whats going on i will put it on here. Sorry for the lack of updates but i can only post info as he gives it to me.

Joe hasn't let me in on any arrival dates yet. He also hasn't given me any updates on the group buy or anything regarding being sued. I'm waiting on info from him. April 2011 AR GB update

Well I talked to Joe and nothing has came in yet. He said hes been sued twice over this group buy. He told me when the stuff comes in he will let me know, so we can get this group buy over with. He really had nothing to add this month.

3/1 GB update

well i sent joe a message asking if he had any info he wanted me to post. for march's AR/Mag group buy. waiting to hear back from him. as he said in the past, he'll let me know when he has something in or when its all in. then we can get everyone their product and get this over with. if he hasn't heard or gotten anything from the vendors there's nothing for him to tell me to post. so that's making the info loop slow also.

again all updates are coming from here. when i hear from joe ill post. with my limited time on the PC im not checking my email. if i have something to add or to answer in the email ill post here. with a few rude emails which i wont answer too, im not going to check it very often. im waiting on joe to let me know when the products he ordered comes in. then which we can get it all shipped to you. when i get info ill post here on the blog. if joe gets back to me mid month ill post up then also.

Feb. Group Buy update

i heard back from joe. he said he didn't have anything to add yet. he hasn't gotten any dates or ETA from the vendors. i'll check back in a couple more weeks. or if he gets at me sooner ill post here.

1/11 group buy

i sent joe a message yesterday. i haven't heard back from him yet. i know were hitting the 2 year mark on this thing being open. im hoping after the holidays are over now joe can get us a idea or eta on when this will be done and over. ive been very busy at work and in my personal life. im sorry but im only checking my email once a month. when there is something to add or post i will post it here.

joe and i want this group buy over just like you. im sorry its taking this long, its out of my hands. when the vendors get joe the gear ill post up. no one is getting "burnt" on what they ordered, joe assured me of that. the time frame as you all know is the only thing that were getting "burnt" on. ill post up soon as joe gets back to me.

12/1 update

well were approaching the 2 year mark, this order has been long and had many set backs. hopefully joe can get a hold of all the vendors this month or just after the holidays and get us a idea of when stuff is going to hit. im waiting on joe to hit me with any update or news and ill post it soon as i can.

November AR/GB Update

I haven't heard from Joe yet to post a update for November. I did send him a message, I'm just waiting on him to reply. I guess going off last month where we are just waiting on the stuff to show up. He did say a while back he will let me know soon as stuff comes in. Sorry I couldn't post more for the 11/1 update, soon as Joe hits me back with anything ill post up.

My email checking and computer time will be limited this month. I have a final i got to take and a lot of stuff going on. So check here for any updates. Thanks and again sorry I didn't have more to add.
